Set up your fences

Edit, turn off or delete a fence

  1. Open the fence

    Go to Settings, tap Virtual Fence, then tap the fence. Or tap its pencil icon from the Virtual fence list on the Location tab.

  2. Change it, or turn it off

    Drag the map to move it, change its icon, name or size, then tap Save. To pause its alerts without deleting it, turn off Activate virtual fence.

  3. Or delete it

    Tap Delete Fence, then Delete to confirm. A deleted fence can’t be recovered.

Frequently asked questions

What shape can a fence be?

A circle, reaching 50 m to 1 km from its centre.

How many fences can I have?

As many as you like.

Can I turn a fence on only at certain times?

Not yet. You can switch a fence off and on again with its Activate virtual fence switch.

Can I see my fences on the map?

Yes. On the Location tab, open map settings and turn on Show virtual fences.
